Sealing of conical threads on screw connections with liquid sealant

Scum the liquid sealing paste on the 2nd or 3rd turn of the thread before screwing in. The sealant distributes itself evenly in the turns of the thread, hardens out and seals the spaces between the teeth of the thread. An unscrewing after hardening destroys the seling effect.
